Asin-neil in Pocketmaar rumors

If this titbit is true, then Asin is just trying to be happy with whatever comes her way…..
Earlier the actress had set out on B-town journey with a determination that she will share the screen only with exclusive stars like the Khans and Hrithik Roshan. Moreover, she had even rejected film offers which had current young screen heartthrobs Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan….
However of late, the industry is abuzz that Asin has allegedly signed a movie, starring Neil Nitin Mukesh. Titled ‘Pocketmaar’, the film will be helmed by Ravi Chopra.
Grapevines reveal that something is brewing between the two actors and both seems to be feeling quite comfortable in each others company.
Some also say that ‘Pocketmaar’ was initially offered to several leading actresses, but due to certain issues they rejected the film and it landed in Asin’s court.
Well, now one can expect clarification reports tumbling from the concerned parties…. But till then one can be assured that Asin is here to stay in Bollywood gossip columns for sure…

Koffee Skirmish: Priyanka Socks Back Accent Jibe To Kareena

It's fast earning a reputation for being the new breeding ground of rivalry. 'Koffee With Karan' is one heady concoction wherein the thrills of being on the show often translate into fall outs.
After the Rishi Kapoor fiasco over Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's barbs over Ranbir Kapoor, there's fresh meat to chew on. Welcome to the catfight: Kareena Kapoor Vs. Priyanka Chopra.
In K Jo's recent show, Bebo is reported to have said that, "I'd like to ask Priyanka where she got her accent from?" Bebo and PC, who were pally during the filming of 'Aitraaz', but allegedly fell out over Shahid Kapoor, have been rather cordial in public and with their media statements too.
However, the hurt simmering underneath couldn't be contained for too long. And not one to be outdone, Priyanka socked it right back to Bebo on K Jo's chat show where she showed up with Bebo's ex beau Shahid for telly company.
"I'd like to tell Kareena that I got my accent from the same place that her boyfriend got his," PC is reported have sweetly snarled on the chatathon. PC reminded K Jo that she too had studied abroad and had access to an accent just like many others who'd done the same.
Milking dry the opportunity for all it was worth, Priyanka took the catwar a step forward stating, "I'm flattered that Kareena considers me a good actress, but otherwise I don't think that people take Bebo too seriously."
Her final telling comment was when Karan asked her what she'd like to steal from the computers of SRK, Shahid, Kareena and others… PC giggled a wee and reportedly said, "Does Kareena have a computer in the first place?"
Guess, it's war time, virtually too…

'Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey': movie review

Nobody remembers 'Pehla Nasha' (1993); the aficionados recall 'Baazi' (1995) as a slick flick; everyone and their uncles and aunts raved over 'Lagaan' (2001); the multiplex audience were wowed by 'Swades' (2004); the sheer opulence of 'Jodhaa Akbar' (2008) made us draw in our collective breaths. And then there was a lull.
Sadly thought, the deluge that followed thereafter was unmitigated mediocrity. If director Ashutosh Gowariker next 'What's Your Rashee' (2009) was a disaster, he seems to have forgotten the lessons rather quickly. A man who made just four movies in ten years leading up to 2008 has since made three more thereafter.
One cannot fathom why he should be hell bent on continuing in the same streak? Why would he want to turn a lesser known political upheaval of pre-Independence India into a history lesson told in what can at best be described as a historic way of storytelling? Seems like directorial ennui is making Gowariker seek glory in history, his own and that of the country!

Lip-locks that took the world by storm!

Some call it 'Kiss of the Century'. This iconic photograph was taken by Alfred Eisenstaedt which appeared on the cover of Life magazine in 1945. Eisenstaedt took no notes or names the day he snapped the photo, hence the identity of the sailor and the pretty nurse intrigued many for decades. After 62 years, finally a guy named Glenn McDuffie took the claim. It's the most passionate kiss that swooned the entire world for a long time. Thanks to Eisenstaedt and hats off to Glenn McDuffie as well!

Smooch Stir: SRK In Liplock With Another Male!

SRK is a happy man…and now there's a gay twist to the actor doing the rounds of micro blogging sites too.

A snapshot of King Khan in a liplock with another male has buzzed the internet into overdrive. There is speculation that the photo is taken from the Jonathan Ross show, a famed British chat show wherein the actor featured as a guest, a while ago.

Reportedly, the man smooching SRK on the Ross show was John Barrowman, the second guest on the show.

In keeping with his media savvy temperament, SRK was at his sparkling best in terms of wit and performed many funny and entertaining bits on the show too.

However, the smooch saga between SRK and the other male, was not telecast.

The big question, however, remains. Is that truly SRK or someone's idea of a sensationalist joke...

Hrithik & Kat set for one long kiss!

Bollywood's reigning diva Katrina Kaif is all set to make her onscreen smooch debut with none other than heartthrob Hrithik Roshan . 

Director Zoya Akhtar has shot a two- minute steamy kissing scene, being touted as the longest lip lock in Bollywood so far, for her upcoming biggie Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara . Hrithik and Katrina have been cast opposite each other for the first time in Zoya’s film, though the two superstars have posed for the cover of Harper’s Bazaar magazine in the past.

But director Zoya is reluctant to reveal details on the kiss. “ I don’t want to discuss details because we are still shooting the film. All I can say is that whatever we have shot is integral to the plot. Everything has been filmed beautifully and the actors look great together on screen,” she says.

Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara , Zoya’s second film after Luck By Chance , also stars her brother Farhan Akhtar along with Dev D duo Abhay Deol and Kalki Koechlin. A large portion of the film has been shot in Spain where the unit drew the flak of animal activists when the three male actors shot a bull- running sequence. According to reports, Katrina has also done some daredevil bike stunts in the film.

While this will be Katrina’s maiden on- screen kiss, Hrithik has mastered the smooching art. He shared his first onscreen kiss with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the 2006 blockbuster Dhoom 2 and smooched Mexican beauty Barbara Mori in his dud home production Kites earlier this year. If Hrithik and Aishwarya were quite uncomfortable while doing the kissing scene for Dhoom 2 , Katrina’s condition was no different when she was informed about the kissing scene by the director.

Says a source close to Katrina: “ Initially, she was hesitant to doing the kissing scene with Hrithik. She wasn’t very enthusiastic about the idea. However, the director managed to convince her in the end.” Sources on the set of the film claim that despite her initial reluctance Katrina seemed quite comfortable kissing Hrithik when the scene was shot. The actress was very professional and co- operative all along, they add.

The kissing sequence happens at an important moment in the film where Hrithik Roshan ’s character looks into the eyes of the heroine and bids her goodbye without saying a word. It is only then that the girl realises how much she loves him and runs up to him to seal her affection with a lip lock. So far, the longest kiss on- screen was shared by Aamir Khan and Karisma Kapoor in Raja Hindustani . It lasted for about a minute. 

Whether Katrina manages to strike chemistry with Hrithik in Zoya’s film remains to be seen. One thing is sure, though — they will set a new record for Hindi films when it comes to puckering up.
